November 2017 Events In Pittsburgh
- What: 30th Annual Christmas in the Village Craft Festival
- Where: 12 Fire Road

- If you’re not quite in the holiday spirit yet, this family-friendly event is sure to do the trick! There’s a parade on Saturday, kettle corn, horse and carriage rides, children’s tent and playground and so much more! It’s sure to be a great time for the whole family!
- What: 2017 Pittsburgh Kidney Walk
- Where: One Wild Place

- If you’re looking for some great exercise and to support a great cause then this is the event for you! This event is held in “nearly 100 communities” according to visitpittsburgh.com and “raises awareness and funds lifesaving programs that educate and support patients, their families and those at risk.” It’s one you won’t want to miss!
- What: Harmony Museum’s Annual Weihnachtsmarkt (Christmas Market)
- Where: Harmony’s National Historic Landmark District
- Main and Mercer Streets

- When: Saturday, November 11, 2017
- From 11:00 AM – 6:00 PM

- Similar to the previous festival this event has food vendors and music. However this festival is focused around the German culture. If you’re looking for something a little different and a way to educate your family on different cultures then this event is for you! There will be German food and entertainment and even some from some other European countries as well!
- What: Veterans Day Flag Ceremony
- Where: History Center’s Great Hall
- When: Saturday November 11, 2017
- From 12:00 PM – 12:30 PM

- Show your support to those who have served our country in this event. Assist local veterans in unfolding and refolding a 36-foot American flag and participate in a moment of silence for those who have served. Perhaps everyone should practice the moment of silence on this day to remember those that passed in battle.
- What: Fun For All’s Holiday Lights Mini-Golf Festival
- Where: Fun For All
- 8 Progress Avenue

- When: Tuesday, November 17, 2017
- From 5:00 PM – 10:00 PM

- If the previous events haven’t gotten you in the holiday spirit yet, this one is sure to get the whole family in it! Have a fantastic time playing mini-golf while enjoying different animated themed holiday lights (country, western, penguin and more) according to visitpittsburgh.com. There are even two different light tunnels that you can walk to and a twenty-foot Christmas tree! Even better, 10% of each ticket benefits the Caring Place!

- Another way to get in the holiday spirit is to shop for some fantastic gifts and fresh evergreens! Not only will you be able to shop from a great variety of evergreens, but also one of Phipps’ “Master Gardener designers” will be there to create custom pieces for you. What better way to get into the holiday spirit than Christmas decorations!
